We strongly encourage clients to familiarise themselves with their counsellor or coach’s professional body where they can find the precise details of its ethical standards and complaints procedure.
As an additional precondition for counsellors and coaches working at Stillpoint Spaces and via our platform, we ask them to agree to abide by the following overarching principles which are consistent with various professional codes around the world.
1. To respect the inherent dignity and autonomy of their clients and to listen to their concerns without judgement.

3. To provide services without regard to age, gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or socioeconomic status.

- While session material may be discussed in the context of professional consulting, supervision, or education, the client’s identity must never be revealed or derivable from the information discussed, either during or following the counselling relationship.
- Confidentiality may be contravened if required to do so by a court of law, or if it is evident that the client may be of harm to themselves or others: the counsellor or coach must be clear with their client about this limit to confidentiality.

It is imperative to Stillpoint Spaces that professional relationships are bound by the highest ethical standards. If you have a question or concern regarding the ethics of any experience at Stillpoint Spaces please raise them in the first instance with hour counsellor or coach.
