We take the practice of counselling and psychotherapy seriously and recognise the challenge of working online. With this in mind, we offer regular twice-monthly “intervision groups” as a free benefit to members in order to support them in this unique, challenging, and often isolating line of psychological work.

A psychotherapy for today
We conducted a year-long research to understand what happens during online psychotherapy from the therapist’s perspective. As a community of clinicians, we do not see online therapy as a substitute for IRL (in real life) practice but as a complement to it.

Stillpoint Spaces prides itself on building a community of passionate and highly qualified mental health professionals from a variety of different backgrounds. For this reason, we require that you meet our minimum standards.
All MyStillpoint members must submit proof of qualifications, accreditation by a professional body that has a binding ethical framework and complaints procedure, and proof of liability insurance. All documents provided will be checked by our team made up of psychology professionals from across Europe.
No, there is no minimum commitment required. The subscription is €22 per month, and you can cancel anytime.
You will be sent a link which will invite you to fill out your public profile and set up your payment preferences, such as which currency you prefer, if you wish to take payments internationally online via credit card.
Once you are set up, you will be able to invite your current clients for secure online sessions via our encrypted video conferencing system.
Your profile can be viewed internationally and searched in a variety of ways, from the language you speak or the city you work in, to your area of expertise or the way in which you work. Our website gets up to 1.100 visitors a day. Approximately 100 people enquire about an initial session every month.
Members are welcome to include links to their personal websites which clients may also visit for more information about you. Having a profile on Stillpoint Spaces and your own website will increase how easily you show up in internet searches. How you present yourself makes a big different in the number of views you get. Some counsellors get over 135 views in a month. You will be able to change your profile at any time to make adjustments as necessary. It is strongly advised to follow our photo guidelines and think carefully about how you construct your profile to get the most views from it. Our staff are happy to help and advise.
Potential clients looking for help on our directory will have a variety of ways to find their right match. On average clients contact two counsellors before deciding.
Clients’ privacy is secured by keeping their messages to therapists on our system rather than in their (or your) emails. Clients create an account (it just takes a minute) to have access to their user dashboard where they can message you, accept sessions you set up, and pay you if you choose to invoice through the system.
Clients can pay you directly with a credit card. We do not take any fees for these transactions, it’s included in your subscription. There is only a small fee charged by the payment processor, Stripe (varies from country to country). Alternatively, you can send invoices to your clients and receive their payments however you choose.
MyStillpoint was created by therapists for therapists - it is more than just software, it is also the opportunity to become part of an international community.
As a member, you have special access to a variety of content including free facilitated "intervisions" to support your practice with your peers. You also have exclusive access to our online community as a place to share tips and thoughts, and discounts on our events. You will be kept informed of all our activities via our Newsletter, which is exclusively for the MyStillpoint Clinical Community.
