Winter Dream Group with Andrés Ocazionez
Stillpoint Spaces counselor and Jungian analyst Andrés Ocazionez will be leading a 6-session dream-work group made up of six to ten participants. The group has the purpose of introducing and practicing dream interpretation techniques according to C.G. Jung’s analytical psychology.
Just as Freud said that the dream is the 'via regia' to the unconscious, Jung considered that the dream was directly 'a spontaneous self-portrayal, in symbolic form, of the actual situation on the unconscious' (CW 8 § 505). C.G. Jung's view of dreams facilitates an approach where the uniqueness of dream images is acknowledged and where the dream can be read as it unfolds on its own accord.
This group is thought out for anybody interested in dreams, depth psychology, the hermeneutical imagination, and self-exploration. No prior knowledge or experience of depth psychology or of dream-interpretation methodology is required. Participants will have the possibility to present and work with one of their dreams in a safely guided and confidential environment.
This a closed group that consists of six 120 minute sessions which are held weekly, starting on Thursday the 26th of January and concluding on Thursday the 2nd of March. The sessions are charged as a whole (90 euros for each participant). Attendance to each session is not mandatory but missed sessions are not refunded. Purchasing a ticket in advance is mandatory in order to attend.
