Description
Families Abroad – Meetup at Stillpoint Spaces
Growing up, or parenting, away from home as an expatriate family can be challenging. It brings additional insecurity as well as emotionally demanding, yet rewarding experiences for the family members.
Join us for an open discussion on the dynamics and questions that come into play when you live in a new country. We will explore and discuss the needs of expat children, contact with the extended family, cultural diversities and transitional periods among many other topics, that will help us and our families adjust to our new lives abroad.
Facilitated by Nadia Marolda, psychologist born to a Swiss-German mother and an Italian father, with over ten years experience in providing psychological assessments to adults, children, young people, couples, and families. At first, she specialised as a Psychologist for children and then in the field of trauma and crisis.
