Informed by Jungian and various psychoanalytic approaches, I view the therapeutic process as a way to regain contact with the inner world and its inherent vitality, spiritedness and intuition. In my view, this inner source is the best guideline for our decisions and our development towards wholeness.

I also believe what drives us, is the desire to develop and sustain deep, meaningful and intimate human relationships. In order to discover and let go of the barriers to both this inner and outer contact, psychotherapy and counseling can be a beneficial framework and helpful ally.

I grew up in the south of Germany and moved to Berlin for my studies. The various opportunities and inspirations there led me to travel abroad a lot. I was a visiting scholar in the USA for one year and traveled throughout America and Asia repeatedly. It became a fascinating path for me to balance the poles of the vibrant incitement of bustling cities and the serene beauty of nature and wilderness.

Besides, the outward exploration of the East and the West became my second area of relating the opposites. This accompanied my professional path of combining Western psychoanalytic training with a deep interest in and passion for Eastern meditative practices, and resulted in my training as mindfulness teacher.

Now I work in Berlin, Germany, in private practice, providing psychoanalytic psychotherapy and Jungian analysis within a mindfulness informed framework for German and English speaking clients. Additionally, I provide psychoanalytic and mindfulness oriented online counseling through Stillpoint Spaces in English and German.
