I am trained as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I am also a postgraduate psychologist having completed British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited training.

I provide a supportive environment with which to address the difficulties that are holding you back. This means identifying thoughts, feelings and behaviours and looking for points where changes can be made.

I combine this with a practical problem solving approach to look at ways to reach the goals you are aiming for.

I became interested in Psychology because of a curiosity about how and why people think and behave as they do. This interest has deepened with practice and experience.

Experience

I have 10 years experience of working for the NHS in London and the South East. During this time I have specialised in working face to face with the distress caused by anxiety and depression. Particularly I have focussed on providing individualised treatment plans for anxiety problems relating to obsessional thoughts, compulsive behaviours, worry, panic, shyness, health related concerns and self esteem issues. I have an interest in groups having acquired experience of tailoring psychoeducational group sessions for a range of people in different settings.
