As a Counselling Psychologist I follow the belief that people are inherently good and creative. Therefore, we have the internal resources to solve problems and grow. By cultivating openness and trust in oneself, every person could achieve their goals, wishes, and desires in life. Sometimes, we perceive situations in ways that bring us down and we feel that we can’t overcome them alone. We feel that we need to talk about this situation to someone who will listen and understand without judging us. As a professional counsellor these skills are paramount. In addition, to help you find solutions to your issues, I use a variety of different approaches - mainly client centred therapy, solution focused therapy, emotions centred therapy as well as cognitive behavioural therapy. I can help children aged 7 and above, teenagers, adults, couples and families who speak English, French or Spanish.

I was born in Spain, raised in Paris, studied and worked in England and France and now I live in Switzerland. I grew up in a multicultural environment and I have always had friends from different countries. I am passionate about travelling and art. I am sensitive to the link between cultures and human behaviours embedded in countries. The emotional power of creative work fascinates me. Since I was a child I wanted to help people develop. I started with teaching adults and teenagers. People were acquiring knowledge that would help them to communicate abroad, obtain a diploma, grow in their jobs, get a sense of achievement and be proud of themselves. I continued helping people at work when I joined the human resources field. All along, many people would tell me about their life issues because they were finding in me “a good listener”. I felt I wanted to help people more in this area. So I decided to become a counsellor, a life coach and then a counselling psychologist. I embraced the goal of helping people view their life as “enriching, exciting, rewarding, challenging and meaningful”. Indeed, when you feel that you are leading a good life the road to achievement is smoother. I chose a humanist approach, counselling, because it is open and positive. It enables me to integrate different therapies and believes in people’s own resources. In the last 6 years I have helped children and families with life issues, teenagers find their professional path, adults solve work and private problems. It is fulfilling to see others reaching the right state of being to start achieving their life goals.
