I am a native English speaking counselor who works both in-person in Zürich and online with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families.

My counseling and coaching styles are integrative, holistic, and strengths-based. Every client is unique, and I adapt accordingly to assist each individual in finding workable resolutions to the conflicts in their lives.

For all my clients I offer a safe, non-judgmental space in which to share and feel heard. Together we’ll explore behavioral patterns with the aim of helping you create meaningful internal shifts. Maybe you’re caught in a negative cycle that seems to never change. Or perhaps you’re adjusting to a life or career transition. The past could be triggering you in the present, leaving you feeling confused and out of control.

In therapy and coaching, we can explore your experience and make sense of it in a gentle but meaningful way.

I offer all potential clients a free initial 30-minute session either online or in-person to see if we're a good fit.

Not every counselor is the right one for you, and this complimentary conversation provides you the opportunity to decide if you feel comfortable working with me.

I was raised in the mid-1980s in a suburb outside of Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. I’ve always been fascinated by stories, relationships, and the behavioral patterns that define them, which was further fostered during my undergraduate degree in English Literature.

Years later I lived abroad in South Korea and Russia as an expatriate teacher. These experiences provided me with insight into the complexities of being a culturally displaced individual in relation to society, family, and intimate relationships. The difficulties I watched my students and their family’s deal with greatly spurred my interest in becoming a psychological counselor.

During my Master’s training, I worked in an outpatient hospital setting with individuals struggling with severe psychological disorders and substance abuse. I’ve also counseled college-age students coping with anxiety, depression, issues of self-esteem, and ADHD. In these settings, I provided therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Currently, I am working in private practice in Zürich and online.

I hold a Master’s of Science in Counseling and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC #1095664) with the National Board of Certified Counselors in the USA.
