As a therapist I focus on working with active imagination in movement, a process which enables an embodied conciousness and the developing of the inner sense of the Self.

I am particularly interested in the use of Authentic Movement as a mindful practice for well being and self-care. Authentic Movement can be experienced as an inner journey into the unknown, by unfolding deep transformation especially within a traumatic experience.

I work in english, german and greek and I provide supervision for new creative therapists, as part of my procedure for accreditation as a supervisor following the standards of the German Assosiation for Dance Therapists BTD.

I was born and raised in Greece, I studied Dance / Movement Therapy and Pedagogics and my interest for art history, poetry and Philosophy led me at the Open University to study Greek Culture.

Through my personal journey and the significant challenges I faced, I focus on discovering ways on how to sit and be present first with ourselves, in order to offer an unconditional positive regard to people who are suffering with life issues.

As a group facilitator I try to embrace a wide spectrum of approaches. Through Dance/ Movement Therapy people can connect with their life issues and activate their internal and external resources. Different approaches such as mindfulness and active imagination in movement, enables bodily awareness, the promotion of change in perception of bodily symptoms and the stabilisation of well -being.

I facilitate trainings and seminars in Authentic Movement and DMT in diffferent health, cultural and educational settings in Europe and workshops for individuals who wish to explore their body soul consciousness.

To confront the social and cultural challenges of our times times, I offer online supervision by exploring new ways to navigate border crossings and working with somatic engagement.

In 2010 I moved to Germany near the borders with France and Luxembourg and I keep moving with the challenges that life unfolds for me.
